Possible day trip to Birmingham coming up for photography and exploration ... It's about time I visited
Millennium Point properly and saw the Birmingham
science museum, Thinktank. When I was a student in Birmingham I often visited the old Museum of Science and Industry in Newhall Street (which was free of charge) and I'd like to catch up with all that's been done in the
forty years since then.
Might have to have tea and cake at the
Centenary Lounge again and maybe a pint of ale at
The Wellington.
All beginning to take shape, and an off-peak day return ticket with
Cross Country Trains from Stamford using my
Senior Railcard will only be £14.85. Bargain!
